Garbett Point Trek
Matheran has garnered a reputation of one of the most favorite hill-stations around Mumbai for some reasons. The bountiful rains, good greenery and waterfalls around. Garbett Plateau is located in the south – west direction of Matheran, offering a 360 degree view of one of our alltime favorite hill stations. Matheran is Famous & splendid hill station in Maharashtra, it covers an area of 8 square kilometers in Sahyadris. This Fantastic spot was Discovered in 1850 by Hugh Poyntz Malet, the collector of Thane district. Garbett point is located on South-west side of Matheran with grand view of the plateau. Climate here is very cool with some breath taking views.

Assembling
The Ascend
– Reach the top @ Garbett Plateau by 1:30 pm.
– It’s a good hike of 4hrs.
– Enjoy the scenic view, explore and have Lunch.
The Descend
– Reach Dasturi Naka by 4 pm and then Neral Station by 4:30 pm by cab.
Return
– Reach Dadar by 08:00 PM (~tentatively)

Members are requested to take return ticket till Karjat by their own. You may board the same train from the station of your convenience and meet us in the train directly. Get into Any compartment Because Train Will be Crowded. Missing the train means missing the trek, So be on time.
